Movember (a portmanteau of the Australian-English diminutive word for moustache, “mo”, and “November” also known as No-Shave November) is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches and beards during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as depression in men, prostate cancer and other male cancers, and associated charities. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com. The goal of Movember is to “change the face of men’s health.”
These initiatives are takes by Non-profitable organisation or NGO’s helping others to grow better.
The Concept NO SHAVE NOVEMBER
Goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.
The Rules NO SHAVE NOVEMBER
The rules of No-Shave November are simple: put down your razor for 30 days and donate your monthly hair-maintenance expenses to the cause.
Let the beard growth begin and continue through the month of November.
