Udta Punjab Story Review :

Four parallel tracks, that of a Punjabi rockstar, Tommy Singh (Shahid) a Bihari transient, Kumari Pinky (Alia); a Sikh cop, Sartaj (Diljit) and a Doctor, Preet (Kareena) address the uprising of the drug danger in Punjab. Their lives are in some cases connected to each other yet generally not.

What’s Udta Punjab is about :

As everybody must know about the plot at this point, it’s the creators’ mirror to the general public on how Drug Abuse has taken its toll on the young of Punjab – told through the lives of four people. Tommy Singh otherwise known as Gabru (Shahid Kapoor) is a prevalent rockstar known for his misuse filled tunes, and his drug fuelled way of life. Nonetheless, when police captures him for wrongdoing and puts him in a correctional facility, he starts to re-assess his life. Alia Bhatt plays a Bihari worker taking a shot at the fields on the fringe of Punjab, when she goes over a medication bundle tossed from over the outskirt. In attempting to offer the bundle and gain quick buck, her entire life goes upside down and turns into a horrendous experience for her. Sartaj Singh (Diljit Dosanjh) is an ASI in the Punjab police power, working under a degenerate senior who is tutor for him. In spite of the fact that he regularly chooses not to see towards the medication exchange his town, when his more youthful sibling gets hospitalized because of medication overdose, he chooses to wake up and make a move. Enters Dr Preet (Kareena Kapoor Khan), who turns into his backing in his tirade against medication exchange, which they understand has some overwhelming political force behind it. Whether each of these individuals manage to redeem themselves or become bigger victims to the nexus is what the rest of the film is all about…
